Stanley Saw Workshop – Chainsaw & Crosscut Certification Training

Join the Pulaski Users Group and the US Forest Service for a two-day workshop focused on safe and effective saw use in the field. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced sawyer looking to renew your certification, this workshop has a place for you.

🔹 Sign-Up Deadline: April 30, 2025
🔹 Start Time: 9:00 AM each day
🔹 Travel: No special vehicle needed; easy access with nearby camping
🔹 Experience Level: All levels welcome – participants choose their level for chainsaw or crosscut saw work
🔹 Nearest Emergency Access: Stanley has a clinic and ambulance; nearest hospital is in Ketchum/Hailey
🔹 What’s Covered:

• Safety protocols

• Saw operation and maintenance

• Hands-on field cutting

• USFS Saw Certification (A or B level depending on experience)

This workshop is a great opportunity to gain or renew your saw certification before summer projects begin. Camping nearby makes it easy to stay for the weekend. Spots are limited—sign up early!
